“Hot buttered popcorn with the perfect amount of garlic powder that is insanely delicious, super easy and made right on your stovetop!”
This, my friends, is the best!
I know. I say this about all the recipes I share… but, oh my gosh! It really is beyond delish!
Once you have stovetop popcorn, you will NEVER want it any other way.
Not even kidding.
Every year for Christmas when I was growing up, my mom would make homemade caramel popcorn for a neighbor gift. Sure, we owned a popcorn popper, but that thing would spit out more kernels than got popped! I hated it!
There is nothing worse than biting into a hard popcorn kernel.
Am I right!?
Now. This is the ONLY way I will make popcorn.
Not only did we make it for Christmas, but my 11-year-old self made a batch every Friday night! My parents went bowling and I had myself a date with Garlic popcorn and Fraggle Rock!
Do you guys remember that show? I Loved it!

- Butter (the real stuff)
- Salt
- Garlic powder.

Notes
You could do Ranch flavor, Parmesan Cheese, (I’ve done this one! Yummo!) Salt and Pepper, Italian…the list could go on and on!
Friday night popcorn has become kinda a tradition at our house. My Jerm loves it! Now instead of Fraggle Rock, it’s Netflix with my favorite boys!
If you try this recipe, I would love to hear about it!
