- 8 Tbsp. Butter 1 cube
- 1/2 C. White Sugar
- 1/4 C. Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Egg
- 1-1/2 C. All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking Soda
- 3/4 c Chocolate Chips
Preheat the oven to 350°. Microwave the butter for 40 seconds. It should be melted, but not hot.Mix the butter and sugar together until creamy. Add the vanilla and egg, just until incorporatedAdd the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until crumbles form.Add the chocolate chips and stir in with a wooden spoon.Use a 1/4 c. to measure the cookies. You will get 9 huge cookies! PPlace on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.Bake for 11 minutes. NO LONGER. They will still look doughy, and puffy. They should be barely golden. Let them cool for 30 minutes. They will turn into dense, soft butter-yness!
I doubled this recipe and to get the crumble dough, I ended up adding about 1/2 c. more flour.
