Make this super cute and easy three-tier tray using thrift store cake pans, a dollar store rolling pin, glues and white spray paint!
I have an addiction to repurposing things. To make something out of nothing. The hunt for the perfect cake pans to make this three-tier tray for my bathroom began! I was so excited when I finally found some!
I L.O.V.E with how it turned out!
I am one of those people who do not like anything cluttering up my cabinets, and if it has to be out, it has to be cute! This is both functional and cute! A total win…win!
the supplies
- Spray Paint – White Rustoleum 2X coverage
- Dollar Store Rolling Pin, cut into 3 pieces
- Glue Gun / Sticks
- E-6000
- Saw to cut rolling pin
- Thrift Store Cake Pans
I “eye-balled” how far apart I wanted my pans to sit. I cut the rolling pins to the size I wanted with my saw.
Next, I glued the bottoms of the rolling pin to the e6000 and used some hot glue to help it hold. Fast.
Once I had it glued together, I took it outside and spray painted it. waited for it to dry…and then I could fill and decorate it.
what is in the tray?
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Floss picks
- Q-tips
- Cotton balls
- Extra washcloths
- bandaids
- Girly things::ahem::
I made a cute farmhouse sign to sit at the bottom of the tray. This saying tho!
If I were to break down the price of this tray to make, the cost would be a whopping $5.50!
Not too bad!
