Ooh… It is recipe day! I was super excited to make these cookies. I got up this morning, {Yes, I was dreaming about making ’em you know how that is right?} Anyway, I get into my kitchen, got out all the ingredients…get ready to mix….and my hand mixer goes Ching…Ching..a weird funky noise and then goes C-A-P-U-T! Seriously???? So I ran to Walmart got me a nice new hand mixer for $5.97! I really want a Kitchen-aid, maybe for my birthday?{Hint…Hint…Hubby} The handy dandy mixer did it’s job so I am quite happy!
Are you ready for the recipe? This is a Super E.A.S.Y one! You’ll love it..
1 Devil’s Food Cake Mix
2 Large Eggs
3/4 C. Shortening
Mix all the ingredients until smooth. Roll into little balls, the size of malted milk balls.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 7-8 minutes- No Longer! Cool completely.
Inside Filling:
1 (8oz.) Cream Cheese
1 Cube butter
4 C. Powdered sugar
1tsp. Vanilla
Mix with beater until smooth and creamy. Spread between the flat side of two baked and completely cooled cookies! I actually used a Wilton tip size12 round and bag to fill them but you can just spread them OR cut the tip of the sandwich baggie off and fill it up and frost! Makes 3-4 dozen.

I would love to try your recipe!! I made these once with a different recipe and they were a huge pain in the rear. So good, but not worth the effort…cause there's a slight possibility I'm a little lazy 🙂
